You might have good reasons for TI. There are several good options in Vegas that time of year. At Orleans you can walk to the Arena without going outside and the rates are lower than you quote for TI. Not fancy, but I went last year and I liked the tradeoffs:
Plus: low rates, walk to arena (for USF and other games), clean rooms, soundproof and no noise in room even tho filled with fans from WCC, WCC fans for conversation, easy parking if you have a car, frequent shuttle to Strip
Minus: not upscale, hallway floors stained, no good restaurants on site, a mile to Strip, too many Zag fans
Also, FYI, if you are considering the Dec 19-20 tourney in Vegas, rooms onsite at the South Pointe where the tourney is held are $40 per nite....at least that was the case a few weeks ago when I booked.
