per some comments below, I have absolutely no problem with this. "Midnight Madness" is no longer at midnight and no longer a practice session. It's simply a glorified pep rally and it serves a different purpose. It's a kick off party. It's terrific at schools where they can produce 3,000-10k drunk, dancing, yelling students. I really hope USF's student body isn't too cool for a pep rally and will actually show up to a school-spirit function??? (And act accordingly!) Watching the other crazy places on espnu, and it really makes me wonder? Hope so!
