I didn't say we were competing with UCLA or Kansas. Being mid major schools the best we can expect is to get 3 and 4 star recruits. I think everyone can agree that scout and rivals don't always get it right. Some of the best players on our teams were either 2 or 3 star recruits. If I am not mistaken I believe Dior was only a 3 star recruit. I took offense to the zag type hype comment because honestly all recruits are just hype until they produce. I am not the type of fan that is going to fall in love with every recruit and instantly think he is the next great player. I usually don't believe the hype and take a wait and see approach. Which is exactly how I feel about this years recruiting class.
