From what I understand Cross found the money to fix the gym, so that is a positive mark on his side.
And, I also understand he really can't have a meeting with DGM without her bringing her attorney, so really, what can he do there? Especially in this day and age where universities don't have money to blow, so he really can't even offer to buy her out.
