My point was that CC's salary is based upon his CFO position. Several posters here seem to think his main duties and primary salary-influencing items are associated with supervision of DGM. Not accurate. In my career your placement on a salary structure had to do with your major dutues (e.g. CFO). Your performance in non-core duties may impact your ranking within that salary structure but was a MINOR influence and did not move you to a different pay structure. Seems appropriate and very business like to me. I'd be shocked if CC's salary structure is not primarily impacted by comparative salaries of other CFO's.
