Well, from the outside it does seem like he might be annoyed that he was never even thought of through all the coaching changes.
Of course, I don't think SMC, SCU, Cal, SJSU, Sac St, UC Davis or Stanford brought him in either when they were looking for a coach, so maybe I am wrong.
