Im sorry, but Gayel force does not sign up 1,200 people...just not true. Second, that is more students than in our entire incoming freshman class, so that would be slightly difficult. Lastly, the dynamic on campus is much different between USF and SMC, as you should know. At SMC students are actively and probably desperately searching for something to do, students at USF have plenty around them, which makes it increasingly difficult.
Besides, most of the students involved with ASUSF could care less about athletics.
However, I will say that Los Locos is on the verge of launching something on campus that the Gayel force has yet to accomplish, something that should help increase membership drastically.
