Hi Mary, it sounds like it is his back, and he is in pain since he is hiding under the bed. Just continue the baby aspirin (not adult aspirin) and don't try and make him come out from under the bed if he doesn't want too. Also you might have him lay on a heating pad. Then take him to the vet first thing Monday. Hope he gets better really soon. Michele
