Hello-
I adopted a 2 year old VERY submissive, neutered Pit Bull about 5 months ago, and although he is house broken, about every 6 weeks he will urinate in the middle of the kitchen floor. Of course, he only does this when I'm not looking. There is also a 1 year old spayed female Pit in the house, and she was here before him and is the more dominant dog.
The Vet says he is just "showing off". Is he trying to establish some sort of dominance, and is there a way to break this habit?
