Sunday morning we had what will probably be the last "fighting cabin fever" meeting of the cold season. For that occasion, some folks drove down 3 hours just to get a nice breakfast with the guys. I know that compared to well established clubs, a group of 17 looks ridiculously little, but that was a record participation for US.
Most of the club members (about 50) never met each other since our club is virtual and our forum is our principal link. So it was a great meeting where many were happy to put a face on to somebody's nickname.
We promised to have a group excursion soon in spring. Might be at our "mystery island" or on a different place large enauph to accomodate a group of detectorists.
At the request of several members, we've added a Buy, sell Trade forum for our club since many new members are looking to get an upgrade or get an introduction model. At least two were looking for a Ace 250. So I've added that feature last nite... you can see the link for the trade forum and you are welcome to participate as well !
Here is Sunday's group. I wish to thank the anonymous member from the foreign division who generously lended us his office to hold the meeting in. Some perspicacious reader might recon the location ?
