I think that most Metal Detecting information is hard to come by especially when it is about Nova Scotia. After quite a bit of searching I just found this site today. Assuming from all the "Nova Scotia" content, this is Nova Scotian?
If you wanted to find out about Alaska's or California's gold , no problem, but try to find out about our own gold history, mines, specimens found etc. much different story. Perhaps Nova Scotians are a little more tight-lipped about what's lying around.
I also found it hard to locate a good metal detector in this province, so I went and got a bunch of them, Fisher, Tesoro and Garrett models so hopefully the next Nova Scotian or maritimer trying to find a metal detector will have a little easier time of it than I did. There is also a bit of information about GOLD in Nova Scotia on my site, maybe stuff you already know, maybe not.
