Out with Karen this morning to get some water from the local spring when I notice a foundation in the woods. Got ole floppy out and started to swing.
Lots of iron so I moved away from the celler hole towards an old oak tree. Started to cheery pick the high tones and sure enough it appears to be a Victorian site.
My back gave out on the 4th dig so had to quit after 10 mins but was rewarded with a nice silver spoon.
When I got home I noticed the makers mark, Tiffany & Co 1895, Wonder if it's valuable like the lamps, lol. Still looking for my first Vicky quarter, I'll have to return when my back heels........cheers
