I met a guy who was telling me the story of the pirate Jean Lafitte and how when he was chased out of New Orleans in 1821 he took his operation somewhere near Santa Clara in the Yucatan peninsula. Well turns out that Santa Clara is about 50 kms from our villa. So I think I will be exploring that area a bit. Hey you all.
The weather here is plus 26 and the sun shines every day. I still have a month of this left before it's back to NB. By then it will be time to start getting ready for the Spring outings.
