Posted by Lucky-Luc(quebec) thing change at the third beach since the lake was frozen solid(that didnt stop us in the past,,)the ice was a good 1 inchs thick an a bit hard to break an even with temperature below freezing point i was sweathing like hell because of all that hard work of breaking the ice,,,(i use the Martin technic witch consist of sitting on the ice until it break then repeat again an again until a wide enough area is free of ice so we could swing the coil)(i should of brought my camera there!!) not much there also until i start detecting on all metal an digging all those very deep target that where probably there for some time but didnt took the time to dig them the last time i was there,,,,, i manage to find 2 x 2 dollars an 3 loonies (1 dollars coin)several quarter etc.....thing where getting a little better with at leese some change,,, last stop was at the restaurant an talking with the waitress she told us that our next target(close to her home) was not frozen ,, well she probably need glasses since this lake was also frozen pretty solid an once again we had to break the ice to be abble to detect,,,, once we got deeper (hip) we start to play shuffle with some piece of ice ,,,sliding them on the frozen lake an since the ice was very smooth the piece travel very far making a strange noise while slidding (200 to 300 hundred feets)let say we where having fun like kid,,,,, after finding a looneys an a couple of penny an nail mange to find a 14k 4 grams 2 tones gold band,,,YIPPEE!!!! the sun was getting down pretty fast so we decide to hit the road for the return home,,,,anyhow i was exhaust from all that ice breaking,,,, total for Lucky now the picture!!!!! thanks for watching an this will probably be my last find for this season unless warmer weather for the next weeks,,,,sure hope so!!! me an Martin decide to visit beach that we had visit earlier this year,,,the fine where pretty rare on the first 2 beach manage (except for a religious medal)to find only a small silver ring
an pennys only pennys for Lucky-Luc,,,
never thought i would strike gold today maybe 10 minutes later got the chain with the 2 religious medal(one of the medal might be silver not sure)
an a couple of minute later Martin also found gold a smaller but much older gold ring ,,,,
1x silver ring
1x gold ring 4 grams 14k 2 tones
3 x religious medal
2x hotwheel
10.75$ in clad
1x piece of copper ornament with flower on it
