My bro-in-law has a White's Classic ID with a Blue Max 800 coil. The display screen is acting sporadically, at one time showing nothing over a target, at another time showing to the far right, etc. A service tech in Chicago was suspicious of the coil. The suggestion was that, before shipping it for repairs, we should try it with another coil to see if the problem is really with the coil or in the actual display. I am in Dartmouth (but mobile) and have his machine here. Does anyone have a coil which would fit the Classic ID that I could test with his machine to see if that is the real problem? I will come to where you are (as long as it's not near Timbukthree) if you are willing to help. Thanks.
