Thanks for the response. I recently met a distant cousin who told me a story about a gold, fancy pocket watch that belonged to our great grandfather. The watch had been given to my cousin's father many years ago. One day, his father was headed to the woods to work and realized that his regular pocket watch was not working. He decided to take the gold watch, and, on the ONLY day that it went to the woods with him, he lost it. My cousin said that he was shown the approximate area that it was lost, but the property has now been sold to someone outside of the family. Nevertheless, he will try and get permission for us to hunt for it- he thinks that permission will not be a problem. This one will be even more challenging as it was about 50-60 years ago that it was lost. However, being gold, if found, it will probably be in decent shape. I just love this kind of adventure!!!
