If it needs anything other than something very cosmetic without question the detector will be leaving Canada. Last I knew Detect Enterprises dealt with Minelab through Cork, Ireland. I'd forget about them and contact the service center in Las Vegas. As I said it will be leaving anyway so at least doing it yourself you have the choice.
