I think that letter helps us quite a bit in the public eye and it really says our points were taken seriously. What really bugs me now is not knowing what the heck sites they are talking about. They straight out say sites are being destroyed and I do not take that as meaning digging in plowed fields. Either someone is into some nasty stuff or they're (the gov.) creating something that's not because they don't like the finding of artifacts which is done legally. I'm still very confused by their vague info. which has been that way right from the start. PS... On the news they took a shot of an Ebay page showing NON-DUG coins, and bits of scrap dug in a plowed field. That to me does not coincide with what they are claiming. Also, do they think no one would ever do that type of thing to keep the finds? Sure they would. It all just doesn't add up to me.
