Posted by Dee Barton The name Hiram appears in many Tennessee Honeycutts including the Moses that married Hannah Beeler (he named a son Hiram). This name Hiram also shows up in many descendants of John Honeycutt (b. abt. 1782 NC). As of right now, my Honeycutt/Hunnicutt/Hunecote descendant report on my site does not include the Tennessee Honeycutts (John, Uriah & Moses Honeycutt--all relatively close in age). I am waiting till I can piece them to their correct NC ancestors before I connect them to the report. But I do think they relate to old Moses Honeycutt & Margaret/Elizabeth Stout. Thanks again for sharing!

Marshall,
I tend to disagree. I believe Earlene's Moses who married Hannah Beeler is the son of John Honeycutt (b. abt. 1782 NC). Although I do have a Moses as the son of Nathan born abt. 1819 but he is a different Moses. Earlene's Moses was born in TN and also married in Claiborne Co, TN in 1842, the same place that John Honeycutt resided.
