Posted by Laura Hunnicutt Gardner on 5/2/2007, 2:39 pm I've traced my family back to Belmont County, Ohio where a Thomas Hunnicutt, Hunicut, Hunecate, and wife, Miriam and their son Thomas relocated in 1807 from Prince George County, VA. They were Quakers belonging to the Concord MM in Ohio, and before that to the Blackwater MM in Virginia. Any ideas who Thomas' father and mother were? Thomas JR was born 9/11/1794 in Pr. George County, Virginia. He had three sisters, Sarah married Micajah Bailey, Deborah married Edwin Wilson and Mary married Matthew Bailey. I need to know who married Thomas JR. I believe it was a Sinclair, since his son was James Sinclair Hunnicutt, my gggrandfather. James was born in Ohio in 1822 and died in Iowa in 1923 at the age of 101. I have his obituary. James married Mary Parkins of Athens, Ohio and had 3 children Thomas A., Elvira and Edwin. When his wife died, he married Mary Gilmore in Iowa. He had six more children.
