Last year (Sept 10, 2006), after spending an evening with Mikie racing at Barona, I suffered a Subarachnoid Hemorrhage. I spent a week in two different hospitals (Balboa and UCSD) four days of that in ICU. Went through a multitude of tests and they couldn't find the cause so they said it was a spontaneous burst (or like I say...I blew a head gasket). The doc gave me the all clear in January and we moved up to the Bay Area. Well, I went in for a 6 month recheck and to get routine testing done (MRI/CT Scan) and now they think they see something...possibly a small aneurysm. I am currently waiting for the insurance company to authorize the tests I need so they can determine if it is indeed an aneurysm.
I don't know what the future holds for me, but I am trying to stay possitive and keep putting one foot in front of the other.
I keep telling Mikie "only the good die young" .....he says "then we have no worries" lol!!
Anyway, I will see if I can dig up some video.....I might have one or two somewhere out there on the internet.
The El Camino is going to be my sons daily driver (SBC) with a little kick to it
