Yea, Pete I think it's too much gear.Its like you said if it hooks its a blast, but at initial stike if it spins hard it wont recover till I pedal it, but by then its game over, salute as my doors get sucked off.
So I put the spare tire back in the trunk complete with the jack & lug wrench & I'll lower the launch rpm some more & see what happens,That setup worked ok at C-bad so what the heck. It's all good fun stuff right. Pete I think I remember you saying that you were going to try Phoenix tires? Bill Mcviegh loves them Maybe they will work for you!
