Well started pup whelped 6/7/2011 by Lester's Snowatch & Indian Creek Lizzy. Tess is collar conditioned, whoa broke, stands her birds thru flush and is well on her way to being steady to shot. She's a very intelligent, easy to work with and clean & quiet in the kennel. Tess is pretty moving at what I'd call medium range now,and applies her self nicely to the cover she's working. She has a high prey and is not cover shy. This is a very nice young dog that will be ready to finish come fall. Healthy & current on heart worm and shots. I am a grouse hunter as well as a quail and pheasant hunter. This dog would primarily be used to hunt grouse in Michigan. Do you believe this dog is going to tend to stay close when in heavy cover? Thanks.

This young dog will make someone an outstanding bird dog for many years. She's easy to handle & train, and it won't take much to finish her before hunting season.

I have a litter mate to this dog and he is a machine, he runs big in open country and adjusts nicely to the cover and looks beautiful doing it. I've seen other's from this litter and they can find birds.I hope this help you.

Thanks Tim that's certainly good information to have. Tess is actually a nice young dog, I just find myself in a position with 2 other very nice young pointers, all around the same age that I like just a little bit better. Those 2 will probably get the bulk of my attention moving forward so I'd really like to see Tess go to someone who will give her a chance to progress. She's gonna make a real nice dog for someone.
