English Setter Puppies: Field Bred Classy English Setter Puppies. Whelped on May 31. Both the Sire and Dam are from Marty Zukovich’s kennel in Pennsylvania. Dams grandmother was CH Pine Hill Bonnie. She was the #1 Grouse setter in 2002 and won the Seminatore award in 2003. Sires grandparents were CH Chip’s Diablo Ott and CH Grouse Ridge Storm. Lots of Grouse Ridge lineage on both Sire and Dams side. Both dogs are excellent Wild Bird dogs. Proven Grouse and Woodcock lineage. Good trial prospects. Dam is my personal hunting companion and is an excellent house dog. Temperament is excellent. Very calm in the house and all business in the field. Both dogs are (40-45lbs). $600 each. Taking deposits to hold your pick. Located in Sanford, NC.

Puppies are 10 days old now. I have pictures available. Puppies are Tricolor, lemon and white and black and white.

[img]http://[/img] 5 week old picture of the puppies. The picture is just before Mom was going to feed them so they are all attentive and waiting for Mom. All of the black puppies have heavy black ticking spots starting to show up. They are showing some brown ticking on their legs also. The orange puppies are starting to get 2-3 orange ticking spots, but not very many yet. Lots of personality showing up in the pups. They are learning how to interact with each other. They are all eating like crazy. All of the puppies are being handled and played with multiple times per day. My wife and kids are home for the summer so the puppies receive plenty of socialization. Let me know if you want any individual pictures of any of the puppies.

Good luck with selling puppies for $600 in NC. If you can sell non Ch pups for $300 you will be doing good. Not trying to be sarcastic just realistic.

Randy, I understand the price may be a little high for North Carolina, but these puppies come from good lines. I have 1/2 of them spoken for already. I have 1 female left and 4 males. 3 of the puppies are going to Pennsylvania. If anyone between North Carolina and Pennsylvania is interested in a puppy, contact me or Marty Zukovich. We might be able to work out transportation. If someone is interested but thinks the price is too high, I will listen to offers. I will also trade for a 2 dog aluminum box with top storage or remote bird launchers.

Greg - sounds like a high quality breeding to me and if I was in the market for a new pup would absolutely consider this great looking litter. It's too bad that a public response was made only to "police" your announcement of a litter of pups.

I made some pictures of the puppies pointing yesterday. Everyone of the puppies went crazy over the dead quail we used. One pup almost took the dead quails head off. These are going to make some really nice bird dogs. Temperaments are excellent on these pups. I have been holding back the 2 top males in hopes of a trialing home. I am releasing these puppies because it is time to move them. I have 3 males and 2 females left.
