The economy has touched all of us. It’s time to wind down for the next field trial season and campaigning three dogs is out of the question for us now. We have decided to put Peace Dale Scooter (Skuba) up for sale. The asking price is $3000. He is nearly 4 years old, born 1/17/2006. His Sire is Taz and Dam is Pine Hill Pearl. He has over 20 puppy, derby and shooting dog wins.
Skuba is a bird finder, he listens and handles for anyone with ease, his small size
allows him to go all day long, his stamina is unlimited. He’s deadly on woodcock, while a first season derby he once had 7 broke woodcock finds in 45 minutes. He’s pointed several grouse and has had grouse shot over him this fall.
He is always solid on point and with an 11 - 12 o’clock tail, has never failed to back, even 100 yards away. He could be taught to retrieve in minutes, just needs to be allowed to do that. He is still being trialed this fall.
Skuba, if put in the hands of a cover dog trainer, could turn out to be a winner in the wild bird trials. He would make an outstanding hunting dog, preserve or plantation dog. He can be seen by arrangement and has a “money back guarantee” after a two week trial period.
