We had our local tack shop make a heavy leather case to hold the Garmin Astro. It has a snap on the back to attach to your belt or saddle. Leather covers the whole case but the tall antenna still sticks out. You have to take it out of the case to look at the face, but it protects the unit much better than the thin nylon case on the market. cost is $20 plus shipping. email me at flyingfurr@dejazzd.com for pictures.
