I believe my Grandfather was on that ship as well. He was a part of Hq. 3rd Bn, 324th Infantry, 44th Infantry Division. His name was Oliver Wesley Binns. Is his name on the hankerchief? I also have some pictures that my parents gave me of my grandpa's when he served his time overseas. There are many unidentified men in them. I would be happy to share those with you if you are interested.
