My mother recently gave to me pictures and letters my grandfather carried with him while serving in WWII. My grandpa passed away about twelve years ago and I was too young to ask him anything about his time spent overseas. His name was Oliver Wesley Binns, but I always knew him as Wes. According to a paper I found, he served with the Hq. 3rd Bn., 324th Infantry, 44th infantry division. He returned home on July 15, 1945. If anyone has information on him, served with him, or thinks they might have a picture with him in it, I would be very interested if you could email me with that infomation. Thank you!
