Good Morning Melissa, I hope this note gets back to you. My Dad (Ernie Schauppner) served in Company "M", 3rd Bn, 71st Inf Reg. I have his 71st Inf Reg history book from World War II. In the back of the book there is a roster of the 71st and it shows the Name KENDRICH, Loren E. from Hagerstown, Maryland (Washington Ave.). Loren Hendrich is listed among the men of Company "D", 1st Battalion.
