My father in law passed away recently. We cannot locate his discharge papers, which we need to have his veterans' plaque made, as well as inquire about his army pension. He served with the 44th during WWII. Can someone tell me how to obtain a copy of his discharge papers? The local Army Reserve office was of no help. Thanks.
