Hi there,
My father Gerald L. McAfee was in this infantry during WWII. He has since passed on and I am trying to retrace some of his steps. Please respond if you might know him or if you know any of the history
I know that on April 7. 1945 his platoon captured a town called Wachterbach Germany.
