Posted by Bob Deich Served in 114th Inf Regt of the 44th and have James F. Behan as being from Montclair, NJ. He served in Hq Co and SVC Co of the 324th. Frank Ramirez was in A Co of 324th. Did Behan's name appear on the papers you have? I would guess that "SFW lt side" could mean Succumbed From Wounds, left side. More by email. Best Regards, Bob Deich
