My Dad,PFC Wm H. Wilkerson,says that he recalls Lammers, that they went overseas together in the USS General Gordon and were in Co. F together.My father was wounded 17Nov44 near Avercourt, France so he does not know circ. of your grandfather's wounds. He had already evacuated to 36th Gen. Hosp. Dijon France which is where Lammers prob. went. Co. Comm. was Capt. William Applegate.
