Records on my Father, Edward C. Boycks appear to be missing and/or burned in a fire. Recently, I was apprised that Dad was an "injured POW in a So German hospital in Rosenheim". Few family members remain and nobody has any knowledge that my Dad was injured, a POW and/or in a Rosenheim hospital.
I believe I have a relation, a half-bro in Germany, who has apprised of the above facts. His Mother met my Dad at the hospital.... I would appreciate any assistance.
My Dad was from Stevens Pt. Wisconsin, and was Army inducted sometime in 1943-44, immediately attending a "special Army Engr School" at Northwestern Univ, later disbanded when all were sent to Europe by mid 1944.
