My father, Albert C. Wright served as a cook in Cannon Co. of the 324th. He missed artillery training in the states due to being assigned special duty as a Teacher in Oregon. Once he rejoined his outfit they had already completed their training so they assigned his as a cook. My favoite story is him using a captured German motorcyle with a side car to deliver hot food to the gun positions.... the big soup can riding in the side car.... Any information on Cannon Company of the 324th?
