Jeff: I guess I haven't checked this message board in quite awhile. Thanks for responding. It seems to me that John joined the group in November or December of '44, and I believe I received that info from Bob Diech (whose name, by the way, I have not seen on this site for a long time - do you know anything about him?) He was a great help in piecing together my husband's military history. Unfortunately John's records were burned in the fire in St. Louis many years ago!
What is your connection to the 324th?
