Update: After intensive investigation, I have found a few interesting details on PFC Leonard Jackson Eades. He was a member of 3rd PLT, "Item" Company, 3rd Battalion, 114th INF Regiment, 44th INF Division. I was able to find out his specific Platoon from the Queen Elizabeth's passenger list records from when they returned from the war. He had an MOS of 745 (Riflemen). His awards and decorations include: The Bronze Star, Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, European/African/Middle Eastern Campaign Medal w/3 bronze stars, WWII Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal (Germany), Presidential Unit Citation, Combat Infantrymen's Badge (CIB), and Honorable Service Lapel Pin. He was one of the original members of I Company from their training at Fort Lewis, Washington. His campaigns included Northern France, Rhineland, and Central Europe. Anyone with additional information, please feel free to contact me. Mr. Irvin Roth, thanks for all your support. CPT Fike
