Your father is listed as Hirsch, Edwin G., Pfc., 1134 54th St., Brooklyn N.Y. of "D" company in
the 1st Battalion. This is listed in the book titled "With the 114th in the E.T.O." which is practically a day by day account of the whole units time in Europe. It does not have any info on pre-war activities so he is not listed under Headquarters company.
This book is a must for relatives of 114th vets. Its obviously out of print but try an E-bay type site or Biblio.com. or another used book site. I've been telling everyone the same info so the book prices are probably going up and you'll be bidding against other relatives of the 114th Regiment.
