Then toward the bottom of page 169 "At 1500A a patrol which sent from G Co to attempt the rescue of 3 American airmen who had parachuted in front of our lines from their disabled bomber. Upon reaching the airmen, the patrol found the airmen had taken 2 PWs who were guiding them to our lines" This is what I am working with. Not familiar with the structure of the infantry so I might be in the wrong area. Thanks for any help.
