G company was just about to get almost wiped out on the 5th January. They were preparing to attack Bellvue farm where 3 officers were killed and the remaining two were wounded. 20 men killed and another 20 wounded. My father was one of the wounded company "G" officers.
Email me at a later date as I'm getting ready to got to bed. Just wanted to let you know that someone has some info. I just took my dad to a reunion in Minnesota where 6 members of his company g attended. My dad is the oldest at 89 years of age. I'll try to find some more info for ya...
