On Jan 5, 1945 my Dad jumped from a B-17 and landed near the front lines. The Jan 5 situation reports a patrol from G Company was sent to rescue 3 American Airmen. After being picked up, Dad mentions going to a evacuation hospital consisting of tents. Does anyone know where this evacuation hospital was located and where Company G was located on that date? Another crew member talked about Voellerdingen and Bining. Are there any situation reports published by the medical units? Thanks for any help.
