My grandpa served in HQ Co. 114th Infantry, 44th Division and spoke of Bad Orb. He just turned 93 years old last weekend. Said he saw a man rocking back and forth saying "I'll never waste another bite of food again" over and over. I vision this because of the horrors of the concentration camps. Your father may have been in the 71st Infantry. Let me know. Also, any recollection of the surrender of Wernher von Braun, the German rocket scientist of the v-1 & v-2 rockets. Please email me.
