Dad was the BAR man in his outfit. I know he was in the 44th infantry division, 71st regiment, but I don't know what company. He talked about a sear gent Yen who saved his life, but I don't remember many other names he mentioned. I think he was wounded around the action on the Maginot line. It would be nice to hear from anyone who served with him or might know where I could get more information, like a company roster.
