Hello Mr. Frank,
I have read your post regarding your Uncle and was hoping he may be of some help to me. I have recently acquired over 200 letters from a Bernard Tonnison. He too was in Company E and fought in WWII in France. I would love to find out more about this man. Maybe your uncle remembers him? I would greatly appreciate it if you could ask your uncle if this names rings a bell. I know he was from NJ and started out in Fort Dix. I wonder if he has any living relatives? Any photos anywhere? What was his character like? Any interseting stories about him? etc....
I have been imersed in these letters and would love to know more about their author.
Hopefully your uncle will remenber him or can put me in touch with someone who may.
