My husband, John (Jack)Godfrey was in the 44th Infantry Division, 324th, Company B and also some time in Company K. Is there anyone out there that was in either of these two companies?
Would love to hear from you, and perhaps add some more history for my boys. John died in 2002, and unfortunately, we never sat down and discussed his actual involvements - exactly what countries and routes he traveled, etc. Thanks in advance for any info.
