Hi Does Anyone recall my grandfather James B. Potter or have a list of troop on the transport home? My grandfather was a rifleman, he attained the rank of Sergeant. He was likely assigned to the 44th from the 79th Division possibly for a ride home the United States. Less likely, perhaps he was a 'veteran' replacement from a 'repple-depple.'
