Hello Cheryl. You may already know about it, but there's a book entitled, "The Other Battle Of The Bulge, Operation Northwind", written by Charles Whiting. You can find it on the web. It's about Hitler's last stand, if you will. It didn't get all the publicity, probably because it wasn't under Patton, but it was an awfully bloody conflict. My father, Sgt Luther G. Ott, is mentioned on pages 26,27. Your's may be also, it's been a long time since I've read it. The book was written in 1984, he passed away in 1980, so he never got to see it.
