My father also was in the 324th Infantry Company F. He was Sgt.of a Machine Gun Squad. Name: Sgt. Stanley A Roberts. I have a pic of him and some other men, unknown, as he, my father also suffered from alcoholism and I believe PTSD. The only time he talked about the war was when he was drinking and I never knew what was true and what was not. He always mentioned a dear friend named Sow Belly. I will send pic to this site. Maybe someone will recognize some of these soldiers/HEROS. My father is the first one on the left. Good Luck searching.
