Another great patriot from the 114th Infantry Regiment,Charley Co.,has passed on. Ed Horne who served with the 114th in North Africa during WWII,has died on April 15th,2007.He also served his country in the Korean War.Originally from Maine,he lived the last 50 years of his life in Dallas,Tx.He was a wonderful husband to Marie,and a great father to Sharon,Eddie,and Rusty,and a grandfather to Shelley. I knew him as a kind and generous father-in-law aftering marrying his daughter Sharon.To my daughter he was her "Daddy Ed". He was a fine example of the "Greatest Generation".
