My Uncle (Cloren Dwaine Ayers) was in Company I 71st infantry 44th division. He was wounded Nov. 13, 1944 and died Dec 11,1944. I would like to know the battle too. There was some information that he was wounded in Lientry, France but I cannot find any information on Lientry. Maybe it's not spelled right.
